" Big Cat has implemented a production system we call "lean manufacturing." It is based on the eminently successful Toyota Production System. Basically, this system has five main components:
1. Reduce work in process and decrease levels of inventory by increasing production efficiency.
2. Increase the velocity of production.
3. Eliminate waste.
4. Manufacture "on demand" by performing all operations in house.
5. Incorporate "just in time" techniques.
The result is a superior product with excellent
quality, enhanced value through the ability to offer expanded options
and accessories, and the convenience of shorter lead times. This is
an ongoing improvement process. As time goes on, we are confident that
we will be able to sustain continued improvement in the Big Cat brand.
