Enhance your Catrike with a Catrike eKIT featuring the Bosch BES3 Smart System. The latest Generation 5 Bosch Performance Line Drive System delivers increased torque, reduced system weight and improved power-to-weight performance while maintaining the smooth, responsive characteristics of the Bosch drive system.
At the heart of the Catrike eKIT system is the Bosch Performance Line drive unit, delivering up to 75 Nm of maximum torque, a 50% increase over the previous 50 Nm Active Line Plus system. Maximum assistance remains at 340%, with 250W of continuous output and up to 600W of maximum power. The increased torque provides extra support during climbing and acceleration, while the compact motor maintains a natural pedaling feel with minimal resistance.
MOTOR
BOSCH Performance Line Motor provides a maximum torque of 75 Nm with 340% assistance up to 20 mph and 105 cadence.
BATTERY
The Bosch 400 Wh battery pack has a maximum range of up to 70 miles.

The Generation 5 motor is also smaller and lighter than the previous Active Line Plus unit. The complete Bosch package is approximately 1.4 pounds lighter, with approximately 0.9 pounds of that reduction coming from the motor. This improved power-to-weight ratio enables more efficient drive-system integration while delivering greater available torque.
The motor, battery and display interface communicate as an integrated system through the Bosch eBike Flow app, enabling over-the-air software updates, system diagnostics, performance data and ongoing feature enhancements. The eBike Flow app also provides customizable assistance modes and display configurations, allowing riders to tailor system operation to their preferences. Integrated smartphone-based security features provide additional control and anti-theft functionality. The eKIT is compatible with Catrikes manufactured since 2005 and uses Bosch components engineered to meet applicable safety standards. The complete system is UL2849 certified.
Each eKIT also includes the SUPERNOVA Light System, powered directly by the eKIT battery so the lights do not require separate charging. The system includes a SUPERNOVA MINI 3 headlight and TL3 PRO taillight, providing integrated front and rear illumination for increased visibility during daytime and nighttime riding.
